Parent Contact - A. Description

I have worked with parents quite a bit throughout this first year of counseling, I regularly take phone calls from parents addressing a variety of issues from problems with grades, counseling matters, and even schedules. I have also had to make calls home very regularly, especially compared to when I was a teacher. I also find myself answering parent e-mails pretty much everyday, so I have pretty extensive contact with parents. Usually it would be my responsibility to assist in hosting parent events such as Parent Teacher Conferences, Welcome Nights, and College Go Events. Due to Covid restrictions many of these events were either cancelled or became lengthy emails. I was able to host a digital event for registering for 21st century scholar that was intended for the parents of all 8th grade students.
