Crisis - A. Description

A crisis that I have had to deal with way too often in my school has been suicidal ideation. I have talked with probably a dozen or more students about suicidal thoughts this year and while I vividly remember almost all of those conversations, there is one particular instance that sticks out to me.  I had been talking with a pair of students fairly regularly about their anxiety, home life, thoughts, feelings, etc. One of those students AL got to the point that she was harming herself and was referred for impatient care at a local facility. SA is close friends with AL and came to talk to me the next day.
